Writing Workshops
Who you are:
A writer with an essay or chapter of a longer body of work looking to get some insight on your prose and story. This is great for anyone looking to build their writing skills AND editing skills.
A writer able to give thoughtful, constructive feedback to fellow writers. This is an inclusive space and I will not tolerate anything otherwise.
How it works:
Sign up and submit an essay around 2,000 words to me that you’d like to workshop.
You will be assigned one other essay to read and provide written feedback
You will receive the remaining essays to read over but do not need to prepare anything
I will be reading all essays and providing written feedback for each one!
Day-of: we will meet for 2 hours. After a brief introduction and a reminder of workshopping best practices, we’ll talk about each piece one-by-one for 15-20 minutes at a time, with a short break at the half-way point.
You will receive a free ticket to a future writing sprint as a way to say thanks for joining me, and to help you keep moving forward with your project goals.
